ALGA TFCF
“ALGA TFCF’ is a unique initiative whose goal is the comprehensive development of adolescents. We aim to not only develop their athletic skills, but also strengthen their communication skills and instill in them a deep environmental consciousness. This program includes a variety of activities, ranging from soccer and volleyball training to intensive communication training and environmental studies. Our mission is to inspire teens to experience personal growth, expanded social skills and a deep respect for the environment to create a healthier, more sustainable future.”
ScholarshipProgram
Education is the key to everyone’s bright future. The TFCF scholarship program is designed to support talented children from low-income families in obtaining a quality education. We believe that education opens up unlimited opportunities for development and change in life. Our goal is to help children get an education, become successful, and support their communities. This year, we were proud to award 220 well-deserved academic achievement scholarships. Education is a contribution to a bright future.
Community Collaboration Program
Today, both for-profit and non-profit organizations have recognized the value of social collaboration. It turns out that when organizations operate independently, they may only know about their own projects, their own results, their own tools for success, and have absolutely no idea what other organizations are doing.By collaborating with other organizations that share the same goal as TFCF, we can benefit not just one part, but benefit the entire organization as a whole. And as American University professor Arthur Himmelman says: “Collaboration is a relationship in which each organization wants to help its partners become the best they can be.”In a collaborative relationship, people begin to see each other’s strengths as partners and achieve more effective results.
Since last year (2022), TFCF began to visit schools or organizations located in rural areas, we saw that there are no good conditions for studying, the building is old and the windows are thin, which makes students catch cold more easily and affects their academic performance. Not only in the field of education, but also in the field of public hygiene and medicine, there are no modern and more suitable toilets and medical equipment for people, diseases are easy to spread and not easy to treat.Due to its complex ethnic composition and geographical location, Kyrgyzstan is prone to frequent border conflicts and natural disasters. TFCF has been here for many years and should also do its part to help children troubled by wars and natural disasters.

Medical Program Information
Conduct mobile dental screening in remote villages within TFCF Tokmok service area to improve dental health in disadvantaged families. Increase family knowledge about teeth to prevent diseases
Mobile dental check. Most TFCF families do not have enough money for dental check-ups, and remote villages do not have dental services with adequate equipment and treatment staff. Therefore, this year we decided to launch a “Mobile Dental Checkup”. According to statistics2, dental problems are relevant because most dentists cannot and do not want to work in remote villages. Therefore, families in remote villages usually have teeth removed without treatment because they do not have a local dentist. In addition, the dentist is very expensive, so families cannot get treatment. One car with 1 dentist, 1 volunteer (will help the responsible worker drive) and the responsible worker will travel to distant villages to check teeth. Dental checks will be carried out in villages throughout the day, and mobile dental checks will be carried out 5 times in Tokmok office service areas. An examination and consultation with a dentist will be carried out. After checking, the dentist will know who needs dental treatment. Clients who need dental treatment will receive a special paper, according to which the dentist will carry out the treatment. Some clients do not have access to quality dental treatment, so they experience chronic stages of disease. This may affect the client’s personal life, education, and future life goals. After each inspection, the private dental clinic will provide a database with all the names, materials used in the treatment, and what treatment was carried out.
Volunteer program
There is a Volunteer Program within the TFCF. We train community students and children from TFCF-supported families in volunteering, leadership, working with children, helping families in need, and other skills to develop and improve community resources to support TFCF activities. The TFCF provides support to more than 10,095 children in Kyrgyzstan, including 4,041 children in Bishkek. It’s not easy to pay enough attention to all these children. The Bishkek volunteer team was created in 2016 and makes a great contribution to the development of children’s talents, skills and abilities. In 2022, approximately 350 children were involved in activities, classes and summer camp by a team of volunteers. Who can become our volunteer? Children from families receiving support from TFCF, students receiving a scholarship under the Education Support Program and students from the community over 16 years of age. Schoolchildren, students, young professionals raise awareness of children on various issues, participate in events, learn and develop with the help of TFCF programs. Starting in the new year, we will be recruiting new volunteers for next year!
Purpose of the program:
- Assist in helping TFCF families and the community.
-
Represent TFCF to the TFCF community and families.
- Help volunteers realize themselves and achieve personal growth through participation in events.
Program to improve children’s nutrition
Healthy nutrition for children lays the foundation for their full life, ensures their growth, physical and mental development. Therefore, it is extremely important that it is balanced and meets all the needs of the child, taking into account his age and needs. Malnutrition in all its forms and non-communicable diseases associated with malnutrition continue to be a major contributor to the rising incidence of disease in the country and pose a high socio-economic cost to households, communities and the country as a whole.
The main goal of this program is:
- So that children don’t go hungry.
- To improve the nutritional status of children.
- To effectively improve children’s health.
Talent Training Program
The talent training program is specifically designed for our clients to support them in talent development and education. Following the UN SDG 4 goal, TFCF would like to support talented and intelligent children in acquiring and developing their knowledge and skills. The program will help children get good jobs in the future and develop skills to a professional level, since “education is the most powerful weapon to change the world” (Nelson Mandela). FCA expects every child we support to be encouraged to pursue a quality education and to express their talent.
Next goals for this year.
